Your Peace of Mind Should Be Guaranteed!
We know that the real estate process is a long, difficult and emotional one. We have been there before. Buying a house, condo, or investment property is most likely the biggest financial decision you will ever have to make in your life. There is a lot of uncertainty when it comes to buying a home, but there shouldn’t be when it comes to the general condition of your future home. When you sign on that dotted line, the only thought in your head should be what color to paint the Master Bedroom.
Home Inspection Geeks mission is to provide the ultimate Peace of Mind to our clients. We believe everyone deserves a safe and reliable home. Somewhere that you can live happily with your family. Your Peace of Mind is not only our goal, but it is our guarantee! Here is why we are the right inspection company for you!
What is a Condo Inspection?
A condo inspection is much like a regular home inspection, however it is specific to condos and therefore inspectors have to be certified condo inspectors, which at Home Inspection Geeks we are certified.
Because the outside of a condo is joined with other condos and owned by others, a condo inspection is specific to the components inside of a condo.
We will look at the inside of the condo to make sure that it is in good condition.
Why You Should Get a Condo Inspection
Getting a condo inspection isn’t as common because many people don’t think about it, but it is just as important as getting a home inspection on a residential home.
Condos can have many of the same issues that homes can have, so it’s important to make sure that the condo is in good condition and a safe place to live!
If you don’t get a condo inspection before purchasing and moving into one, it can cost you thousands of dollars in repairs. Inspections can make sure that the place is safe to live in, and that there aren’t any issues that are related to the condo or surrounding ones that may cause you issues in the future.
What is Included in a Condo Inspection
We will look at all the major components and systems of a condo. These include:
- Heating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) unless it is a central unit and not specific to your unit
- Appliances
- Electrical outlets
- Windows
- Doors and entryways
- Ceilings
- Flooring
- The exterior and roof of the building for an extra charge
